Following the development of the Serious Simulations Sim Grenade with proximity reporting, our team introduced a version to use in training independent of MILES equipment. The Sound and Light Sim Grenade operates completely independently of external electronics.ย It introduces safe grenade handling, employment, and defensive techniques to the live force-on-force training battlefield.ย Soldiers, leaders, and exercise controllers can safely integrate sound and light grenades into live training without any additional equipment, and enables controllers and umpires to make good judgement calls as to the likely battle damage of the thrown grenade. Completely realistic operation perfectly replicates the deployment of the genuine M67 Fragmentation Grenade but the Sound and Light Grenade core can be custom packaged for replicating most lethal hand-thrown munitions in use by various countriesโ militaries.

Sound and Light Emission: After the fuse time expires, the simulated hand grenade emits sound and a bright LED flash, enhancing the authenticity of training scenarios and providing immediate feedback.
Soft, Padded Shell: The soft and padded shell of the simulated grenade ensures safety during training exercises while maintaining a realistic appearance.
Realism in Design: The simulated hand grenade closely replicates the manual of arms for real grenades, complete with a pull pin, safety clip, spoon, hammer, and a 5-second fuse delay, offering a highly authentic training experience.
Sound Customization: The sound emitted by the simulated grenade can be customized by customers, allowing tailoring of the decibel levels (from 80 to 130 dB) to suit specific training needs.
Light Customization: Customers have the flexibility to adjust flash duration and luminosity (up to 180 lumens) of the LED flash, ensuring the training environment matches the intended scenario.
Weight Tailoring: The simulated grenade’s weight can be tailored by customers, ranging from 7 to 14 ounces. The 14-ounce weight corresponds to the actual weight of the M67 hand grenade.
Versatility: The system is configurable to replicate various types of throwable munitions, adding versatility to training scenarios.
Reusability: With a rechargeable battery and durable construction, the simulated grenade can be used for thousands of detonations, ensuring long-term value and cost-effectiveness.
Ease of Use: The simulated grenade does not require external sensors or equipment, streamlining training preparations and enhancing user-friendliness.
Magnetic Charging Port: The inclusion of a magnetic charging port at the bottom of the grenade simplifies the battery recharging process, making it quick and convenient.
